Acres Designer Update 1.24.25

Changes as of 1.12.25

• Trucks have maximum capacities now that are upgradable

• Drafting certain spots also brings in some money

• Upgrading your sawmill is more prudent and increases your capacity

• NEW: additional board that will serve two purposes: to track money (replacing paper money) and to give an optional expansion where players can purchase or lease Tracts (rows/columns). I am still working out the kinks but right now it allows you to move through fences on that row/column.

On a non-game update, I have been researching Crowd Funding this game through GameCrafter because they do not take any additional fees and I wouldn't have any additional costs other than marketing the game once it goes live. If I sell more, it becomes less expensive for them to produce and the value is up to me to pass onto customers or save for myself. I imagine I will do a bit of both (hold until a certain sale number and then pass the savings along to customers). Additionally, I have changed the board material from board to mat allowing me to sell the game at a lower cost and get more game in the box. If the mat seems to cheap (I ordered a copy to see) I will go back to the nicer board since I want people to enjoy and feel like they have a high quaility game.
