ree

a. Pros- Entrepreneurship business building game, extremely thematic, 0% variance in game play, High quality components, high replay-ability, ability to decide length of game if needed.

b. Cons- Snowball effect during first games/ with new people, extreme table space, box organization mess, quantity of components needed but unused during game.

c. Suggestions- print player boards, use poker chips, buy/make box organizer, sleeve the cards.

ree

a. Pros- civilization game (4x) setin space, economy building/ control, customizable ships/gameplay each time, high quality components, negotiating/ punishment for breaking negotiating, research board is limited each round- leads to tensions and high emotion, hull and computers mitigate luck with dice attacks, game feels rewarding when you present your juggernaut of a fleet you have been building all game.

b. Cons- length-especially with analysis paralysis players, sometimes the variance feels like a slap in the face, punishment doesn’t feel enough (VP lost is won back easily with first space taken), cold-war arms race that is all too common, so many components needed but not used during game, table space.

c. Suggestions- buy/make organizer, buy second addition if able.

ree

a. Pros- Amazing blend of worker-placement and deckbuilding, components are the highest quality, combat is punishing for those who partake making it feel more balanced for those who did not get rewards, combat cards add just enough variance,

b. Cons- limited strategy routes, imbalanced player card bonuses, deck building stall out when there are no good cards, parts of the game seem irrelevant except in extreme niche circumstances (spice must flow and faction related cards in deck)

c. Suggestions- house rules on who gets what character and possibly take out some of the intrigue cards

ree

a. Pros- Amazing rollercoaster of emotions due to negotiations and backstabbing, streamlined gameplay built each phase of the game, wilding deck adds so much presence that it is silent when it’s time to turn each card over, each house has great combat cards, 10 game rounds feels like there is a true generation happening over the course of the game (some see this as negative…), This is a reskin and a little different version of Diplomacy.

b. Non-house combat cards feel like I am playing risk, due to the conversations the game can take hours.

c. Suggestions- toss out the non-house combat bonus cards, order food for a full day of gaming
